The trails of Chios are among our favorite trips, whenever we can get away for the weekend. If you are an autumn or spring traveler you might enjoy taking one of the many walking trails.

We completed the trail of the Cave of Flori which is on the 15 kilometer of the main road of Chios Volissos. The Municipality of Chios did an excellent job describing and mapping the trail. Joanna ,Rocky and I completed the trail comfortably and thought it was quite easy even though we are beginners. Some of the other trails are surely a lot more demanding and might need more experience and stamina. It was about an hour and a half trail and at the end the cave and the great view of the Aegean and the Turkey coast is very satisfying. It is worth checking out if you are staying in Chios.
